I was not enthusiastic when doneeh was off yesterday
I was so pissed off seeing "error" texts on my blog
that I didn't even want to look at my blog yesterday

I am thinking about using English on my main blog and this blog will be in Indonesian instead of English.. but the thing that I care about is.. if I write in English, it looks like that I'm serious or scary although I don't mean that.. maybe it's only my feeling

anyway, I'm still struggling with my computer book.. I have my midterm on Thursday T_T
so.. see you later, have to go back to my book!

agghhh.. I'm so damn lazy studying this computer stuffs
I feel like destroying this 2.5 cm-thick notebook plus another 2.5 cm-thick textbook.. the topics are sooooo boring.. I feel asleep for every 3 pages of reading.. and the thing I hate the most is Visual Basic.... this course is designed for a non-computer science student like me, not for a programmer-to-be so we don't need to know those complicated ways to make a program.. I want to drop this course, but I can't.. well, I can but I don't want to lose my one course money for nothing because if I drop it now, I won't get any money back.. The only reason I want to take this course is hoping this course as my GPA booster -which doesn't seem so-.. I encouraged myself before I decided to take this course that this course should help my illiteracy in computer stuffs.. well, it seems to help a little bit for my knowledge in computer hardware.. before, I didn't know what a sound card was although I use it everytime.. how stupid I was, now I know it.. is that a good thing?

since the beginning (I think) of this year, I have joined 2 forums.. actually I've joined more but I've never really visited the others
The first one is Keluarga Miring Forum :
about this one, I've joined this forum since may (or march.. I forgot) 2003.. it's already more than a year.. for me, it was fun at the beginning but now, it seems to be so boring that I just need few minutes to finish my browsing..I think the cause of this boredom is most people just reply something that is not related with the topics (Out Of Topic/OOT - which they say to be the "most fundamental" characteristic of this forum) I just look at the threads I'm interested in, which only some.. I spent more time checking my email than browsing this forum.. but I never stop visiting this forum, because it's already part of my life to visit this forum regularly.. I know there are some people joining this forum, and I hope you guys don't feel offended with what I'm saying because that's what I feel right now ^^.. I hope this won't last long..

The second forum is The Outcasts :
I really love this forum! ^^.. although I don't post as much as I do in Keluarga Miring Forum, I spend more time in this forum because this forum has lots of people with critical mind and thoughts.. for most of the threads, you have to think hard about what they are talking about.. I always love the science part of this forum especially about biology because I know what they are talking about ^^.. for me, I get more knowledge and know more people with different thoughts by joining this forum.. this forum is basically for Christian people, I'm pretty sure non-christian will be welcomed to join this forum, but they mostly talk about things and relate them to Christian stuffs.. This christian forum is somehow different from other christian forums (again, only my opinion).. They don't really focus on "theological stuffs".. you have more freedom here.. some Christian forums that I've joined always focus on bible, verses.. I know it's right and a must.. but you feel like jailed, you have to follow this and that.. if you are interested, you are more welcomed to join this forum ^^

although these 2 forums are absolutely different, I love them both.. how about you guys? Do you guys join any forums? if you guys have some recommendation, feel free to recommend them to me since I still have spare time to join more forums and browse them

computer midterm

I decided to have an english version of my blog.. I just had this thought about few minutes ago.. I closed my computer textbook - which I should have finished reading tonight - and went straight to my computer and created my first english version of Orange Carrot blog.. Actually this idea poped up in my head when I read over Echa's newest entry and her reply for my comment.. I need to practice my lame English.. what factors cause slow improvement in my English? first, I speak Indonesian to my Indonesian friends.. second, as you know, I'm taking biology as my program which doesn't really require lots of english-skilled essays.. I just have to make some scientific reports once in a while.. third, I prefer writing my blog in Indonesian because it's faster.. when I write in English, I have to think harder, check either the vocabularies or grammars are correct.. because it's the purpose of writing in English.. knowing you are wrong and correcting the mistakes can improve your skill
I put the same template for a simple reason : I'm lazy to modify/create a new template.. the purpose of this blog is improving my English, not my skills in HTML
I also put the same commenting system and shoutbox because the content of these 2 blogs will be the same.. so I don't find any reasons to use 2 different shoutboxes and commenting systems..

ok, enough blabbing..
anyway, I'm so lazy to translate my newest entry into English..
I'll start from the next entry..
have to read my boring computer textbook..
still can't believe I'm taking this course >:(
